Ignorance doesn't refer to a level of intelligence but rather, the amount of knowledge a person has. We just don't have the time to sit and tune into all the news and resources to get the truth... to check out what's "behind the curtain".  This reason alone can contribute to us  remaining ignorant.

 Stupidity is the absence of knowledge from a conscience decision to remain ignorant.

"Stupidity" has been equated with "foolishness".

 Even our husbands are limited when it comes to time and easily may remain ignorant.They go to work, pick up some "water cooler talk", then come home to more responsibilities.

 We, then, sit down to the 5:00 news and take in what they give us.

 We may have a personal business and have the luxury to listen to all sorts of news ... you may not. I've had that luxury. What I'm hearing, and believe to be "the other side", or "the rest" of the story, is quite concerning.  I'm putting my own business aside because I think this information is important enough to do so.  Please read with an open and honest heart ... let's be honest with ourselves ...

Starbucks - Please Honor our American Culture, Acknowledge Christmas!

Please read the story appearing on the MSN Homepage, this morning, November 9, 2015. Starbucks has removed their "Merry Christmas" and their vintage icons, like reindeer, Santa Clause and "Merry Christmas" due to a few complaints (very few).  They have kept the traditional red color.

Upon calling the Customer Information Line (1-800-235-2883) I advised them that:      (  BE POLITE!!)

 

1.    95% of the American people LOVE THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, whether they are Jewish, Christian or atheists!!

 

2.    Santa Clause, Christmas Trees, Reindeer, etc. are not in the bible, are not religious, but are "secular" in nature, and part of the AMERICAN CULTURE, and loved by nearly all peoples.

 

3.    We all have Jewish friends we send "Happy Hanukkah" cards to, and they wish us a "Merry Christmas"!!  The only people who have a war against Hanukkah and Christmas are the Secular Humanists!!!  And they only make up 2% of the population.

 

So why would Starbucks cater to their so called "being offended"? (which we all know is merely a ruse to erase anything that even remotely has to do with religion from our culture).

 

When 95% of the customers really really like something Starbucks is doing, why would they remove it??

 

4.  Doing nothing is a vote against our culture!  Be part of the "remedy".   Please contact Starbucks and ask they restore their vintage icons and put "Happy Hanukkah", and Merry Christmas back on their cups!!!   Starbucks replied to me that if they get enough complaints, they will restore "Christmas" and "Hanukkah", and Christmas Trees  to their proper place on the cups in December.

If one million people call or email Starbucks about restoring "Christmas", "Hanukkah", and the vintage icons from their cups------and they still don't respond, then know they are just another corporation "going Global" like Target has (target substituted blue and silver as their new Christmas colors 3 years ago, and erased all references to Hanukkah and Christmas from their stores.)   I have now stopped spending money at Target, and go to Fred Meyer or Bartell's at Christmas time.

It's become quite clear now what Obama and the Democrat's strategy was (and is) on the Fairness Doctrine - turn down the volume and deny that's what you really want, while you work to repackage it under a new name.

The "New" Fairness Doctrine?

So what name will the new version of "fairness" operate under?  Diversity.  Or "diversity of ownership", if you prefer.

Just last week, the Senate passed an amendment sponsored by SC Senator Jim DeMint that would prohibit the FCC from reinstituting the Fairness Doctrine, while at the same time approving an amendment by IL Democrat Dick Durbin that would instruct the FCC to promote policies that foster more "minority ownership" in broadcasting.  (Of course the House hasn't weighed in on this yet)

So what does that really mean?  It means the Dems are looking for ways to move broadcast licenses from the companies that currently have them (and maybe air shows like Rush Limbaugh) to new and/or minority owned companies.

In other words, political set-asides by way of racial set-asides.

Meanwhile, Obama has nominated his new FCC (Federal Communications Commission) head who will likely be driving this train.

You also have to keep in mind that the Fairness Doctrine was a creation of the FCC...not Congress.  Which means, baring an act of Congress - signed by Obama - banning the Fairness Doctrine (and pigs fly), the FCC could bring it back at any time.

Stay alert.

The point is, don't let the smooth talk from the Obama crowd get you off the ramparts on this one.  The result that they want (less conservative talk) is clear.  How they will go about it is just a matter of how they think they can be successful.

And right now, it looks like "diversity" is the name of the game.

An extension of the Hate Crimes law recently passed the House of Representatives which will essentially codify into national law the speech codes that are smothering academic freedom on college campuses today. This law is the back door method Obama and his fellow socialists will use to stifle free speech in this country, as explained in an informative article by Jerry Kane.

To heck with the Fairness Doctrine. Who needs to limit censorship to the airwaves? This legislation will silence anyone who disagrees with them.
