Republic vs. Democracy?

This is...our Kids' country!

We have some challenges...let's face them together!!!

 We love our country where we're free to work where we want, give our money to who we want, put our kids in the schools of our choice, pray and go to church as we please!

Is there anywhere else you'd rather live?

If so, where would that be..and why?  Then why not live there...why stay in America where you have liberty, innovation, and capitalism? 

To me it looks like this country's under attack and our freedoms may go away?  Would you believe that?

I'm a mom.  I know how busy we are taking care of things.  My small business that allows me to work my own schedule and the freedom to really keep up with recent news.  I hear more than most and know we're not getting, but little bits of the truth, from our local news...from what I'm hearing...we're not getting the real picture!    I am thankful to live in America...but concerned with the direction our leaders are taking us!

***Please, take an honest look!*** 

I'll gather up what I can, have time to, keep it simple for you...you decide from there!!! We must seriously get the truth or we're in BIG TROUBLE!

Polls are taken...what's found is what most of us want the same things...and...those are not what's being pushed in Washington.  Their policies are packaged up all nice and pretty and here we are...really not getting the whole picture.

We want to trust our leaders...let's not have blind faith.   

I think so many Americans so want this presidency to succeed, but lets take an honest look at his policies. Will they really serve our country and families, well?

The Truth in Time
(Robert Welch, November 1, 1966.)

Robert Welch founded The John Birch Society in 1958 and led it until just prior to his death in 1985. This essay first appeared in the November 1966 issue of American Opinion, a predecessor to this publication. Because Mr. Welch intended this piece as a summary for Americans already steeped in the history of Communism, and because the passage of time has made much of that history more obscure than it was then, an annotated bibliography has been included in this issue beginning on page 35.

To make the history of the great conspiracy both clear and convincing, we need a hundred volumes of a thousand pages each. And we hope that those scholarly volumes will all be written in due course, as a guide and a warning to future generations. But at present we have a more immediate and more urgent task. We want to give you simply an outline of the progress of this organized evil force, from its beginning up to the present time.

The aim of the conspirators always has been, and still is, to impose the brutal tyranny of their rule over the whole human race. Today they are at last within striking distance of that ultimate goal. And we agree with the Hon. J. Edgar Hoover, who stated in the April 1961 FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, that "the way to fight it [Communism] is to study it, understand it, and discover what can be done about it." We think that the only way to stop the Communists is to create sufficient understanding, soon enough, among enough people, as to what is really taking place all around us. So let's do our best, within the limits that are practicable for this occasion, to review the whole fantastic story step by step.
